ANDREW DYKES - Chairman

Andrew is a non-practising barrister whose initial career was in marine insurance where he specialised in oil pollution of the sea. After a Sloan Fellowship at the London Business School in 1986-87 he branched out into other fields and has held directorships of several companies. He has been involved in the care of people with learning disabilities as an owner/operator since 1997 and is closely involved with the operation of the services provided.

STEVE TAYLER - Wiltshire Area Manager/Acting Domiciliary Care Manager

Steve Tayler has over 14 years experience working with people with profound learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and/or complex health needs. He holds an NVQ Level 3 & 4, is an NVQ Assessor and has recently completed the Leadership & Managers Award.

STEVE BATTLEY - Director of Development

Steve is a social care trainer and consultant, working in social care for 30 years, primarily with and for adults with learning disabilities. He has worked as a “front line” carer, a Manager and eventually became a Principal Officer in a London Local Authority.
Over the past 18 years he has worked as an independent trainer and consultant. He trained in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and became a British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists accredited counsellor. During his time practising as a counsellor most of his clients were adults with learning disabilities. Steven has carried out Care audits and service reviews for a variety of social care providers, he has also carried out inspections as a locum inspector for the
C.Q.C. and currently undertakes a number of Reg. 26 visits. Steven provides independent mentoring and supervision for Senior and Managerial social care staff. He is a Past President of the Social Care Association and a member of the Residential Care forum.

JANE HEMPSON-READING - Company Administration Manager

Jane joined the company in May 2007 as the Company Administration Manager. Jane has extensive knowledge and expertise in Human Resources from developing and formulating policies and procedures, staffing protocols, public relations, management of the IT and communication systems as well as employment law. Jane is qualified in NVQ 3 Management & Supervisory (NEBSM), ISO 9001 Foundation & Internal Auditors Award extensive training and various qualifications in all fields as mentioned above. Jane is currently undertaking an - NVQ 3 in Business Administration and has recently qualified in Dreamweaver which will allow her to design and maintain the company’s websites.
